8/4/2008: As an update to the previously reported post, the chartered plane crash involving the Hawker 800 had touched down on the runway but then attempted to take off for an unknown reason. It is reported that the plane crashed into an antenna just off the runway.
A chartered plane went down today just south of Minnesota. The plane, carrying eight passengers left Atlantic City earlier today and crashed just 60 miles from its landing. While the cause of the crash is still under investigation, it has been reported that the weather was not a factor.
