Charter Bus Crash in Texas Leaves 13 Dead

In one of the worst charter bus crashes this year, a chartered tour bus leaving from Houston and heading to Carthage Missouri crashed on US 75 this morning after the driver of the bus lost control and the bus fell 15 feet off an embankment.  12 passengers were pronounced dead on the scene while another was pronounced dead at the hospital. 

The bus was carrying a Vietnamese Church Group. 

A total of 55 passengers were on board, most were injured and required hospitalization.  The cause of this charter bus accident is still under investigation.  Charter bus accidents remain some of the most serious accidents on the roads today.   This particular accident will require an extensive investigation into the factors that played to cause this.  It has been reported that a few years ago, a similar accident took place within a mile of this crash.  Visit our charter bus accident center for more information.

California Helicopter Crash; 9 Dead, 4 Seriously Injured

In a tragic helicopter crash, a team of 13 people, most of who were firefighters were killed while fighting a fire in Northern California when their helicopter crashed.  The circumstances of the crash are unclear and an investigation is reported to begin shortly.
